Passport Transport recently completed a Cinderella shipment story for Beth W. Myers, the owner of a gorgeous ’32 Ford Model 18 scheduled to compete at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in Monterey, Calif.

Days before the Pebble Beach event, Myers’ vintage Ford, with its unique Italian Pininfarina cabriolet body, was still getting its finishing touches at Auto Restorations in Bernardsville, N.J.—3,000 miles from the Concours site. The restoration shop contacted Passport Transport on behalf of the owner, and Passport arranged for White Glove Services to transport Myers’ freshly restored, rare vintage Ford in record time—across the United States and just in time for the Pebble Beach judging. Taking advantage of its 34 years of special-event experience, Passport also coordinated the delivery, making it a seamless event. 

Not only did Myers’ 1932 Ford arrive in time, still sparkling from its recent reconditioning, but it also whipped the competition, winning the Q-1 Class for Ford pre-war custom coachwork vehicles. As it rolled across the lawn at Pebble Beach, event emcee and noted actor Edward Herrmann told the crowd, “This is the first time I can recall that a Pebble Beach Class Winner has been delivered by FedEx to the show!”
