ST. LOUIS, Nov. 10, 2003—Passport Transport, the premier transporter
of classic, collector and specialty automobiles, announced that Rick
Renner has been appointed to the position of managing director. In his new
role, Renner will be responsible for day-to-day corporate operations as
well as oversight of Passport Transport’s subsidiary, AutoTrans Express.
Prior to joining Passport Transport, Renner spent three years with FedEx
Custom Critical, as managing director of recruiting. He was responsible
for retention and growth of the FedEx Custom Critical fleet serving the
U.S. and Canada.
In total, Renner has more than 30 years of experience in the
transportation industry, including working as a sales executive at two
eastern region specialty transporters, and also has managerial experience
with TNT Express Worldwide and Purolator Courier.

Pass, who originated the concept of enclosed specially outfitted

remains with the company and will continue in the role of business
development coordinator and be the on-site company representative at
collector car auctions and events. Pass also serves on the board of
directors of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum.
